Nestled in the serene lap of nature, the donkey trail offers a trekking experience that inspires both a seasoned veteran and a humble beginner alike.

The trek offers you the opportunity to ascend an elevation of 302 meters covering a distance of 5.18 km, surrounded by a picturesque view of boulders and shrubs that envelop the vast rocky expanse.

The climb takes you along the water irrigation systems and also includes a pit stop for a lip-smacking lunch at the Bedouin houses.

As you ascend accompanied by the whistling breeze, the crumbling sand and the glistening rocks, a symphony of nature unfolds itself at the summit. The mesmerizing scene of the Jebel Jais Valley rewards you with a view that is either smothered by a veil of mist or by a sea of reflective rocks covered in silk depending on the time of the day.

We organize both day treks as well as overnight treks based on your preference.

We bring your tea and snacks for the journey. Just don’t forget to bring your hats, sunglasses, cameras and curiosity!
